Architect – Building & Civil Engineering Projects

About the role

The Company is seeking a qualified Architect to lead and manage the design and construction of architectural works across a range of building and civil engineering projects in Hong Kong. The successful candidate will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated, compliant, and high‑quality project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and construction of all architectural works.
• Coordinate with the Landscape Architect to achieve integrated project design and execution.
• Oversee design supervision and coordination throughout construction phases.
• Ensure compliance with the Buildings Ordinance (Cap. 123) and related statutory requirements.
• Review and confirm contractor designs for adherence to codes and regulations.
• Manage feasibility studies, schematic designs, and detailed design phases.
• Supervise vendors and contractors, proactively addressing project issues.
• Produce coordinated project information, including BIM models, drawings, and technical specifications.

Required profile

• Registered Architect and member of the Hong Kong Institute of Architects (HKIA) or equivalent.
• 5–10 years post‑graduate experience in design, supervision, and coordination of construction projects.
• Familiarity with local statutory submissions and Design‑&‑Build procedures (advantageous).
• Experience in factory design is preferred.
• Strong command of English and Chinese.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in Revit.
• Experience with BIM modelling and related graphic presentation software.
