Asia Equities Product Controller - Analyst

About the role

The Asia Equities Product Controller – Analyst joins the Equities Derivatives Group (EDG) Product Control team to support financial controllers and trading desks. You will ensure accurate risk, profit & loss, balance‑sheet reporting and month‑end close processes while developing strong analytical and stakeholder relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with daily risk and P&L reporting and month‑end close procedures.
• Understand and monitor key risk measures (Greeks) and metrics such as VaR and stress tests.
• Provide detailed analysis and reporting to desk heads, risk managers, business managers and senior finance leadership.
• Partner with the business to implement robust controls and support new initiatives.
• Coordinate with front‑ and back‑office functions to resolve control and reporting issues promptly.
• Serve as an analytical and project support resource for product control.
• Handle various ad‑hoc requests on a daily basis.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in product control, financial control, accounting or a related area.
• Hands‑on experience with P&L and month‑end close processes.
• Solid understanding of financial products, especially derivatives.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail and a focus on control.
• Self‑motivated and comfortable working with large data sets.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong working relationships.
