Assistant Actuarial Manager

About the role

Prudential is looking for an Assistant Actuarial Manager to support the production and analysis of regulatory and asset management reporting. The role works closely with regulators, Group Office, auditors, investment teams and external fund managers, and supports the development of junior colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Support the production and analysis of HKRBC Pillar 1 and GWS reporting, including ongoing enhancement of reporting and control processes.
• Support the production and submission of HKIA Pillar 3 regulatory returns and related controls.
• Produce and analyse asset-related management information, including Matching Adjustment and invested asset positions, and support the enhancement of asset shock methodologies and tools.
• Work closely with key stakeholders, including regulators, Group Office, auditors, Investment teams and external fund managers.
• Support the development of junior colleagues within the team and contribute to knowledge sharing across the function.

Required profile

• University degree holder majoring in a numerical subject (e.g. Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Physics).
• Associate or Fellowship of the Society of Actuaries, or equivalent actuarial body.
• A minimum of 4 years of relevant working experience.
