Assistant Bar Manager – Luxury Hotel

About the role

The Assistant Bar Manager will support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing the bar and dining operations at Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong. You will ensure a seamless guest experience, maintain high service standards, and help achieve the venue’s financial targets.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver a delighted bar and dining experience to guests.
• Maintain smooth daily operations and high‑quality service standards.
• Handle guest complaints and comments tactfully.
• Liaise closely with the kitchen team on food quality and presentation.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners on new menus and promotions.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with guests.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in hotel Food & Beverage, preferably luxury.
• Excellent managerial and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for customer service and the hospitality industry.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure.
• International exposure is an advantage.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
