Senior Sales Manager / Assistant Director of Sales, Corporate

About the role

Mondrian Hong Kong, a new luxury lifestyle hotel brand in Tsim Sha Tsui and part of Ennismore in a joint venture with Accor, is looking for a Senior Sales Manager / Assistant Director of Sales, Corporate. The role supports the Director of Sales in driving revenue across all revenue-generating streams and managing corporate accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Sales in developing and implementing a comprehensive sales plan to achieve revenue targets.
• Drive business leads across all revenue streams to the maximum revenue opportunities.
• Maintain the client database and explore new business sources by developing new contacts.
• Develop and implement an account development plan for each assigned account, short and long term.
• Solicit new business and maintain strong client relationships.
• Train, coach and manage the performance of reporting associates to maximise their satisfaction, productivity and client and guest satisfaction.
• Run the sales office in the absence of the Director of Sales.

Required profile

• Degree or above in hotel management or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of hotel sales experience, preferably in upscale or lifestyle brand hotels; candidates with more experience may be considered for the Assistant Director of Sales level.
• Strong network in the corporate segment.
• Team player who adapts to fast-paced change and is driven by success.

Required skills

• Good communication and negotiation skills, independent and customer-oriented.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
