Assistant Engineer

About the role

The Assistant Engineer will support the engineering team of Nina Hotel Kowloon East, ensuring smooth operation of building services and assisting with technical aspects of ad‑hoc projects.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor hotel engineering works and resolve technical issues on ad‑hoc projects.
• Conduct tender analysis and perform monthly on‑site inspections/audits.
• Assist in tracking the Preventive Maintenance Programme (PMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
• Identify, evaluate and implement new Builder’s Work, E&M and ESG technologies.
• Carry out corrective and planned maintenance of building services equipment and systems.
• Handle enquiries, prepare investigation reports for technical matters, and support any ad‑hoc tasks assigned by superiors.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services Engineering.
• 2–3 years of relevant engineering experience in hotels or real‑estate at a corporate level.
• Registered Electrical Worker (Grade B or above) is an advantage.
• Hands‑on experience in E&M consulting.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with hotel operations and project teams.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
