Assistant External Affairs Manager – CARE Volunteer Team

About the role

The Assistant External Affairs Manager will support the Senior Manager in planning, implementing and expanding community events and volunteer initiatives for the Club’s CARE Volunteer Team. This role focuses on strengthening CARE’s capacity as community ambassadors and enhancing the Club’s positive image.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute community events and volunteer programmes for CARE.
• Develop long‑term strategies to grow CARE’s profile and capacity.
• Identify and engage suitable community partners and NGOs.
• Provide administrative and logistical support for events and corporate engagements.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date CARE membership database and prepare recommendation documents.
• Conduct research on potential community partners and programmes.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution and communication.

Required profile

• University degree with at least five years of experience in volunteer services, NGOs, project or event management, or public relations.
• Experience planning and executing CSR or volunteer programmes is a strong advantage.
• Proven record of collaboration with government departments, local organisations and NGOs.
• Strong communication, interpersonal skills and a pleasant, proactive attitude.
• High proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese.
