Assistant Manager – Feedstock Operations

About the role

The Assistant Manager, Feedstock Operations ensures efficient execution of feedstock logistics, covering shipping coordination, documentation, inventory monitoring and ERP system improvements. The role supports both CIF and FOB trade flows while minimizing risks such as demurrage and documentation errors.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee CIF and FOB operations, ensuring compliance with contractual terms.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal procurement to confirm shipment schedules, berthing plans and delivery timelines.
• Verify cargo readiness, quantities and specifications, and liaise with surveyors for inspections.
• Prepare and provide complete documentation for finance to process payments.
• Manage cargo transfer and in‑tank handling between suppliers and storage terminals.
• Handle shipping documents (Bill of Lading, Letter of Indemnity, insurance, demurrage) and ensure compliance.
• Monitor vessel turnaround, identify demurrage exposure and support claim resolution.
• Develop and enhance operational tracking and inventory analysis reports.
• Identify inefficiencies, drive process‑streamlining initiatives and support system implementation projects.
• Assist with contract management and vendor onboarding alongside sourcing teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in feedstock operations, commodity trading, supply chain or logistics.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
