Assistant Manager - Media Relations

About the role

We are seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented communications professional to join our Media Relations team. The Assistant Manager will support the development and execution of Link’s media and corporate communications activities, helping to enhance and protect the company’s reputation among key stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and edit news releases, media responses, Q&As, key messages, speeches and other corporate communications materials.
• Handle media enquiries and support engagement activities with local and international media.
• Prepare articles for corporate publications and thought‑leadership content.
• Conduct daily media monitoring, news digests and intelligence gathering to identify issues, risks and emerging trends.
• Support communications related to financial results, announcements, corporate transactions and other business developments.
• Manage media databases, external vendors and procurement processes, including budget tracking and invoice administration.

Required profile

• Degree in Journalism, Communications, Public Relations or a related discipline.
• 6–10 years of experience in public relations, media relations, journalism or corporate communications.
• Strong network of media contacts and a proactive approach to building relationships with reporters and journalists.
• Creative story‑development ability with a solid news sense and understanding of the media landscape.
• Sound understanding of financial statements, annual reports, stock‑exchange filings and listed‑company communications.
• Proven ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities and deliver high‑quality work within tight deadlines.
