Assistant Manager / Supervisor – Western Restaurant

About the role

The Assistant Manager / Supervisor will take full responsibility for the Western Restaurant in the absence of the Restaurant Manager, ensuring smooth operations and high service standards. This role supports the Captains, handles guest interactions, and oversees daily administrative tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Assume the Restaurant Manager’s duties when absent, including staff oversight and operational decisions.
• Inspect and maintain cleanliness standards across the restaurant, equipment, furniture, and flooring.
• Monitor food production quality and advise the duty Sous Chef on any inconsistencies.
• Assist Captains during service and manage guest reservations, greeting, and seating.
• Prepare reports and forecasts, and approve food, beverage, and general requisition forms.
• Address guest complaints promptly and take appropriate corrective actions.
• Ensure staff adhere to personal hygiene, grooming, and uniform standards.
• Support supervisory duties for less‑experienced candidates considered as Supervisors.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Food & Beverage or Hospitality Management.
• Minimum six years’ experience in an international‑class hotel, clubhouse, or well‑established all‑day‑dining restaurant.
• At least two years in a similar supervisory or assistant manager capacity.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese; Mandarin is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and possess solid finance knowledge.
• Extensive wine and product knowledge with strong communication and customer‑service mindset.
