Assistant Manager, Supply Planning & Operations

About the role

The Assistant Manager, Supply Planning & Operations supports daily supply‑chain activities to ensure product availability, smooth flow, and effective execution across stores, warehouses, suppliers and internal teams. You will work on replenishment, procurement planning, stock allocation and shortage management while supporting launches, promotions and seasonal peaks.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day replenishment and supply planning to meet sales targets and service levels.
• Plan regular and promotional procurement based on demand, stock position and commercial priorities.
• Monitor inventory levels, prevent stock shortages, overstock and aging stock risks.
• Coordinate stock allocation across stores and channels according to trading priorities.
• Support new product launches, promotions and seasonal activities with timely stock planning.
• Work closely with stores, commercial teams, warehouse, finance and suppliers to ensure smooth execution.
• Support warehouse operations, monitor performance against KPIs and drive improvement initiatives.
• Track key supply‑chain metrics, prepare operational reports and highlight risks.
• Participate in ad‑hoc supply‑chain projects and business requests.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in supply‑chain roles, preferably in retail.
• Hands‑on experience in replenishment, procurement planning, inventory management, allocation or warehouse coordination.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to use stock and sales data for decision‑making.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
