Assistant Safety Officer

About the role

Chevalier (Construction) Company Limited is seeking an Assistant Safety Officer to support its occupational safety, health, and environmental initiatives across construction sites in Hong Kong. The role offers a valuable entry‑point for recent graduates or early‑career professionals interested in building a career in construction safety.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in implementing company policies on occupational safety, health, and environmental issues.
• Ensure site operations comply with applicable safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor subcontractor performance regarding safety and health compliance.
• Support site inspections and conduct toolbox training sessions.
• Help investigate accidents and prepare analysis reports.

Required profile

• Higher Diploma or above in Occupational Safety and Health or a related environmental discipline.
• First Aid Certificate holder.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
• Proficient in MS Word and MS Excel.
• Presentable communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fresh graduates are welcome; relevant experience in BEAM Plus projects is an advantage.
