Assistant Vice President, Brand and Communications

About the role

OCBC Hong Kong is seeking an Assistant Vice President to lead its Brand and Communications function. The role blends internal communications with corporate social responsibility, supporting the bank’s strategic priorities and sustainability agenda.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute internal communication programmes that align staff with the bank’s values and strategic goals.
• Create, curate and distribute content across newsletters, email, intranet and other internal channels.
• Collaborate with business divisions to ensure consistent messaging for key initiatives.
• Plan and run internal events that foster engagement and a connected workplace culture.
• Support the rollout of the bank’s CSR and sustainability strategy in Hong Kong, coordinating with NGOs and community partners.
• Develop compelling content to promote CSR and sustainability efforts both internally and externally.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in corporate communications, internal communications, CSR or sustainability, preferably in financial services or large organisations.
• Strong understanding of sustainability, community investment and stakeholder engagement practices.
• Proven ability to craft storytelling content and manage integrated communication plans.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with experience working across functions and senior leadership.
• Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
