Assistant Vice President - Front Office Trading Platforms Support

About the role

MUFG Securities is looking for an Assistant Vice President, Front Office Trading Platforms Support to join its team in Hong Kong. The role sits at the heart of trading operations, providing Level 1 and Level 2 production support for a range of sophisticated trading platforms, including electronic trading and market connectivity. It supports Sales and Trader workflows and acts as the main contact for STP-related enquiries from internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver L1 and L2 production support for direct trading and execution platforms across Fixed Income, FX and Structured Products during trading hours.
• Support Sales and Trading desks across Asia, keeping trade execution continuous, bookings accurate and STP workflows running smoothly.
• Monitor trade capture issues, booking breaks, rejects and alerts on platforms such as Bloomberg TOMS and CMF, and respond quickly.
• Act as first point of contact for platform incidents, communicating clearly with users and liaising with global FOS teams, vendors (e.g. Bloomberg) and infrastructure teams, using ServiceNow to log and triage incidents.
• Follow up after incidents to ensure user satisfaction and clarity.
• Handle user onboarding and offboarding for DTP platforms, managing book access, user mapping and entitlements with Access Management, TEC and HR.
• Enable clients and traders on execution platforms such as ALLQ and TOMS books, including broker connectivity.
• Take part in platform changes, upgrades, cutovers and EOL activities, including testing, user validation, UAT connectivity testing and release coordination.
• Gather evidence for audits and keep runbooks, procedures and documentation up to date.
