Associate – Talent Search

About the role

The Associate will support Korn Ferry’s search teams by conducting market research, building talent pipelines, and engaging candidates throughout the recruitment process. This role works closely with consultants and senior associates to deliver high‑quality search outcomes for clients across industries.

Key responsibilities

• Support consultants in developing sourcing strategies for search assignments.
• Conduct market research to identify target companies, talent pools, and candidate profiles.
• Build long lists of potential candidates using LinkedIn, internal databases, referrals, and online research.
• Perform initial outreach, resume reviews, and preliminary screening interviews.
• Provide candidate summaries and recommendations to the search team.
• Maintain accurate search records and candidate activity in firm systems.
• Collaborate on search documentation, market intelligence reports, and candidate profiles.
• Participate in internal meetings and support business development initiatives.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of professional experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, or related research.
• Strong analytical and market‑research skills.
• Ability to manage multiple search assignments and meet timelines.
• Excellent communication and candidate‑engagement abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with LinkedIn for candidate sourcing.
• Experience using internal candidate databases and online research tools.
