About the role

We are seeking a qualified psychiatrist fluent in Cantonese and English to support AI model training with culturally nuanced psychiatric case studies. This remote contract position offers 10‑40 hours per week, allowing you to apply your clinical expertise to cutting‑edge digital health projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and evaluate complex psychiatric case studies to inform AI model training with culturally nuanced scenarios.
• Conduct thorough psychological assessments and provide expert annotations reflecting Cantonese psychiatric practices.
• Produce clear bilingual documentation and analyses, ensuring clinical and cultural accuracy.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance model understanding of psychiatric concepts.
• Apply ethical decision‑making, maintaining patient confidentiality in sensitive content.
• Contribute to bilingual communication frameworks for accurate psychiatric information exchange.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MD, MBBS, or equivalent) with completed psychiatry residency and a valid medical license.
• Native fluency in Cantonese and advanced proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
• Extensive experience in psychiatric assessment, treatment planning, and case documentation within Cantonese clinical settings.
• Proven ability to apply cultural sensitivity and ethical reasoning to complex mental‑health scenarios.
• Background in developing teaching materials or case studies for educational or research purposes.
• Experience collaborating on interdisciplinary projects, preferably involving technology or digital health.
• Familiarity with both Western and Cantonese psychiatric frameworks and a commitment to professional integrity.
