Business Development Consultant

About the role

Bupa Global is seeking a Business Development Consultant to drive new business through broker distribution channels in Hong Kong. You will work closely with intermediaries, internal teams and compliance functions to expand market reach and meet sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, pursue and secure new business opportunities via broker partners, managing the full sales cycle from pipeline generation to onboarding.
• Develop and maintain strong, long‑term relationships with senior decision‑makers at key broker firms.
• Deliver high‑quality sales training and product presentations to ensure brokers understand Bupa Global’s value proposition.
• Collaborate with Pricing, Marketing, Operations and Compliance to align broker and client needs with regulatory requirements.
• Stay up‑to‑date with Bupa Global’s product suite and provide tailored advice to brokers and their clients.

Required profile

• Proven sales experience in insurance, financial services or wealth management, preferably with exposure to high‑net‑worth clients.
• Track record of growing intermediary‑led sales and consistently meeting new‑business targets.
• Established network of insurance brokers in Hong Kong is a strong advantage.
• Solid understanding of Hong Kong insurance market regulations, including HKIA requirements.
• Excellent relationship‑building, communication and presentation skills.
