Business Development Manager

About the role

The Business Development Manager will drive the expansion of our chemical and textile testing services into new international markets. You will be responsible for building a robust sales pipeline, nurturing key accounts, and delivering on revenue targets.

Key responsibilities

• Handle and support ad‑hoc projects or sales activities as assigned.
• Explore overseas sales and distribution channels, focusing on the US and Europe.
• Design and implement strategic business plans to grow the company.
• Achieve sales targets and business KPIs.
• Liaise with the finance department to ensure timely invoicing and payments.
• Formulate and execute annual plans for key accounts.
• Develop new customers through market visits, networks, and trade events.
• Gather customer insights, tailor solutions, and manage ongoing relationships.
• Identify up‑sell and cross‑sell opportunities.
• Maintain accurate weekly sales pipeline and forecast reports.

Required profile

• Degree in Chemistry, Engineering or a related scientific discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably within chemical or textile testing.
• Proactive, result‑oriented, self‑motivated and able to work flexible hours.
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation and negotiation abilities.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese.
