Key responsibilities

• Assist registered nurses with daily patient care activities under direct supervision.
• Support the delivery of person‑centred care in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
• Follow care plans, delegate tasks appropriately, and maintain accurate documentation.
• Promote patient safety, hygiene, and comfort throughout each shift.

Required profile

• Current Health Service Assistant Certificate III (Acute Care) or equivalent, or recent relevant experience.
• Understanding of delegation and ability to work within a registered nurse’s plan of care.
• Demonstrated commitment to person‑centred care and respect for diverse individuals.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including written and verbal proficiency.
• Ability to manage conflict and maintain professional conduct.
• Evidence of ongoing personal development and competence maintenance.
