Commercial Operations Manager – Support & Services

About the role

The Commercial Operations Manager – Support & Services is part of the Commercial Operations department for the North Asia Region, based in the Airbus Helicopters China subsidiary. The role supports business development by managing offer preparation, contract negotiations and execution, ensuring alignment with commercial policy and customer requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end‑to‑end offer elaboration process, from understanding customer needs to preparing and validating commercial offers.
• Prepare costing, pricing, business cases and commercial balance sheets in line with policy guidelines.
• Assess risks and opportunities (financial, logistic, performance, contractual) and define mitigation actions.
• Draft technical and commercial offers, purchase agreements and contracts, incorporating legal, finance and export‑control requirements.
• Support sales managers during customer negotiations and validate contractual deviations.
• Maintain comprehensive records of presentations, approvals, KYC documents, export‑control approvals and signed contracts.
• Coordinate contract management and delivery, including preparation of amendments, agreements with headquarters and suppliers, and issue resolution.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing offer elaboration within a commercial policy framework.
• Ability to coordinate contract execution across multiple internal and external stakeholders.
• Knowledge of export‑control regulations, legal and financial considerations in contract preparation.
• Strong analytical skills for risk evaluation, costing and pricing.
