Community Relations Officer

About the role

The Community Relations Officer will support the planning and delivery of community, educational and youth engagement programmes, helping to drive stakeholder participation and achieve the organisation's community objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute communication and engagement initiatives, including seminars, exhibitions and outreach activities.
• Oversee daily operations of the Housing Society Exhibition Centre, managing bookings, guided tours and housekeeping.
• Develop and maintain relationships with local groups, schools, community organisations and service partners.
• Prepare promotional materials, digital content and event publicity using basic graphic design, photo and video editing.
• Monitor programme performance, collect feedback, produce reports and recommend improvements.
• Provide administrative support such as procurement, payment processing, record management and reporting.

Required profile

• Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Social Sciences, Marketing, Event Management or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in community relations, youth development, stakeholder engagement or event management.
• Experience managing community programmes or educational activities is preferred.
• Strong organisational, multitasking and attention‑to‑detail abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, Cantonese and Putonghua.
• Basic knowledge of graphic design; familiarity with photo and video editing is an advantage.
