Computer Operator – Technical Frontline

About the role

Kyndryl is looking for a Computer Operator to work on the technical frontline, supervising complex computer systems and ensuring high‑level service delivery. You will operate in a multi‑vendor environment, handling infrastructure, batch processing and incident recovery.

Key responsibilities

• Operate infrastructure and systems via consoles or remote terminals, process batch jobs and manage I/O devices.
• Continuously monitor infrastructure, distribute alerts and support incident management and recovery.
• Maintain accurate records of machine performance, inventory levels and follow established procedures.
• Provide guidance and training to less‑experienced operators while following senior direction.

Required skills

• Troubleshooting and backup/recovery experience.

• Familiarity with enterprise utilities like Warehouse Manager.
• Knowledge of monitoring systems (SolarWinds, Zabbix, Nagios).
