Cost Manager – MHKIS/MRICS Required

About the role

Arcadis is seeking a Cost Manager to lead cost management activities on retail, workplace, fit‑out, refurbishment and renovation projects for a major multinational client. The role works under the guidance of a QS Director and collaborates closely with programme and project managers to ensure commercial success.

Key responsibilities

• Support delivery of retail, workplace, fit‑out, refurbishment, maintenance and renovation projects.
• Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to address requests and issues promptly.
• Prepare and validate project cost estimates, pricing models, cost plans, bills of quantities and tender documentation.
• Assist in tender analysis, recommendation reports and contract documentation.
• Provide commercial support to programme managers, project managers and planning teams.
• Manage workload to ensure appropriate commercial and contractual support throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify, assess and monitor project risks, maintaining risk registers.
• Contribute to high‑quality cost and commercial management services across multiple programmes.

Required profile

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics or related discipline (preferred).
• Minimum 6 years of experience in Quantity Surveying or Cost Management.
• Experience in consultancy and corporate client environments, preferably on workplace, fit‑out, refurbishment or retail projects.
• Proven track record of managing projects of varying scale and complexity.
• Strong commercial, contractual and stakeholder management abilities.
• Excellent written and spoken English; good Cantonese preferred.
• Professional membership (HKIS, RICS or equivalent) is mandatory.
• Senior candidates may be considered for a Senior Manager role.
