Country Finance Lead – APAC (HKD 60-70k)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Country Finance Lead to act as a trusted financial advisor to senior leadership across APAC. The role combines strategic influence with hands‑on financial oversight, supporting business growth in a fast‑moving, multicultural environment.

Key responsibilities

• Review commercial contracts, manage contract governance and ensure financial oversight of key agreements.
• Handle vendor‑related financial matters, build stakeholder relationships and support negotiations.
• Partner with country and regional leaders to provide financial insights, strategic guidance and decision support.
• Lead preparation and review of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Establish and monitor internal controls, governance frameworks and compliance processes.
• Identify financial and operational risks, implement mitigation strategies and support audit activities.
• Drive finance transformation, process improvement and cross‑functional initiatives across APAC.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• Professional accounting qualification.
• 8+ years of progressive finance experience with regional/APAC exposure, including leadership roles.
• Proven expertise in contract review, vendor management and financial judgment.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, regulatory compliance and corporate governance.
• Experience in risk management, audit coordination and control improvement.
• Fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
