Cyber Incident Responder – APAC Production Security

About the role

Join the APAC Production Security team to protect IT operations for clients across the Asia‑Pacific region. You will help design, implement and continuously improve security frameworks, ensuring strong detection and response capabilities in complex environments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical activities for security use‑case definition, design, implementation and enrichment based on real‑world attack scenarios and frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK.
• Propose and develop use‑cases to detect, protect or mitigate ongoing security threats.
• Conduct research and threat hunting to enhance detection capabilities within the IT Production Security Investigation & Incident Response team.
• Support the 24/7 regional IT Production SOC and maintain a strong security detection posture.
• Respond to cyber and IT security incidents, assess severity, and drive remediation.
• Identify recurring issues, develop mitigation plans and recommend process improvements.
• Collaborate with global, regional and local stakeholders to ensure efficient detection and response.
• Continuously review and improve SOC policies and operational playbooks.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience as a security professional.
• Experience designing and developing security use‑cases with knowledge of Java.
• Proficiency in Linux environments (RedHat, Ubuntu).
• Ability to interpret security logs and translate them into threat models.
• SecOps‑DevOps mindset with strong incident investigation and remediation experience.
• Hands‑on experience with SIEM products and incident management.
• Fluent English; additional Asian languages are a plus.
