Cyber Incident Response Analyst

About the role

Deloitte China’s Risk Advisory team is seeking a motivated Analyst to join its Cyber Incident Response practice in Hong Kong. You will work on high‑impact investigations, helping clients detect, contain, and remediate cyber incidents while collaborating across forensic and financial crime specialists.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in cyber incident response and investigation projects for a variety of industry clients.
• Own technical aspects of incident investigations, including the use of tools, processes, and strategies.
• Collaborate with Deloitte Digital Forensics and Financial Crime teams on cross‑service engagements.
• Support the development and execution of cyber resilience and vigilance initiatives.
• Document findings, produce reports, and communicate recommendations to senior stakeholders.

Required profile

• University degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset with an interest in cyber threats and incident handling.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
• Willingness to learn and adopt Deloitte’s methodologies and tools.

Required skills

• Fundamental understanding of cyber security concepts and incident response lifecycle.
• Familiarity with forensic investigation techniques and tools.
• Basic knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and log analysis.
