Data Engineer with WFH flexibility & large project exposure

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on Data Engineer/BI Analyst to join a leading property group in Hong Kong that is undergoing a major data transformation. The role offers work‑from‑home flexibility and exposure to large‑scale finance analytics projects.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain end‑to‑end data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Collect, cleanse, transform and validate data from multiple business systems.
• Build scalable data models and support data‑warehouse development.
• Develop interactive Power BI dashboards and reports for business stakeholders.
• Support dashboard design, data visualisation and user‑adoption initiatives.
• Work with Azure‑based platforms including Azure Data Factory, Databricks and Synapse Analytics.
• Collaborate with finance and senior BI leadership to translate reporting requirements into technical solutions.
• Prepare presentations and management decks to communicate insights.
• Assist the organisation’s adoption of Microsoft Fabric, AI and modern BI technologies.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in Data Engineering, BI development or analytics.
• Strong hands‑on experience across the full BI lifecycle (data ingestion, wrangling, pipeline development, modelling, dashboard design).
• Experience with finance or enterprise reporting data is a plus.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑moving, high‑visibility project environment.
• Detail‑oriented with a proactive, hands‑on mindset.
