Datacentre Operations Engineer – Hong Kong

About the role

The Datacentre Operations Engineer will be responsible for installing hardware, cabling, servers and network equipment. They will manage inventory, coordinate third‑party vendors and assist with installations and troubleshooting.

Key responsibilities

• Install and commission datacentre hardware, cabling, servers and networking gear.
• Maintain accurate inventory and oversee power and cooling distribution.
• Coordinate with third‑party vendors for deliveries and services.
• Troubleshoot hardware and network issues in a fast‑paced environment.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing, building and managing datacentre infrastructure (rack space, cabling, cooling, power).
• Strong knowledge of structured cabling and power distribution models.
• Hands‑on experience with managed CDU units (ServerTech, Avocent, APC).
• Excellent written and verbal English communication; Chinese a plus.
• Ability to work independently, manage projects and travel as needed.
