Digital Product Design Manager – Digital Sculpting

About the role

We are looking for a creative and technical leader to drive the digital sculpting vision for our licensed and owned consumer products. The Manager, Digital Product Design will oversee high‑quality digital sculpts from concept through production, ensuring accurate character likeness, manufacturability and compliance with licensor requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead digital sculpting development across multiple product lines and establish best‑practice workflows, tools and asset management.
• Mentor and manage a team of digital sculptors, balancing workloads and fostering a growth‑oriented culture.
• Collaborate with Design, Engineering, Model Shop, Project Management and Global Development teams to keep projects on schedule and aligned with licensor approvals.
• Develop and maintain a global network of external sculpting and prototyping vendors, reviewing their work for quality and brand consistency.
• Drive continuous improvement of sculpting processes and lead an internship program with local colleges.

Required profile

• Fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
• Bachelor of Fine Arts or equivalent in a digital medium such as Visual Effects, Animation or Game Development.
• Minimum 10 years of professional digital sculpting experience, preferably in the toy industry.
• Proven ability to capture accurate character likeness for licensed figures and understand engineering and manufacturing constraints.
• Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills.

Required skills

• ZBrush (expert level) with a portfolio of consumer product development.
