Associate, Design

About the role

FGS Global is a global advisory firm advising CEOs, boards and leadership teams, with a Creative & Design team that turns strategy into decks, brand identities, motion content and digital campaigns. It is looking for an Associate, Design to join its Hong Kong team, working closely with the Associate Director, Design, Asia. The role suits someone 1-2 years into their design career who wants hands-on variety, from board presentations to brand assets and motion graphics.

Key responsibilities

• Design and produce high-quality PowerPoint presentations and pitch decks for client and internal use.
• Support brand identity projects, including logo development, visual guidelines and brand assets.
• Create motion graphics and animated content for digital campaigns, social media and presentations.
• Work across the Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, InDesign).
• Partner daily with the Design Associate Director to interpret briefs, iterate on concepts and meet tight deadlines.
• Collaborate with consultants across the Hong Kong office and the wider Asia team to turn client objectives into design solutions.
• Maintain brand consistency and design standards across all deliverables, and manage several projects at once.

Required profile

• 1-2 years of professional design experience, in-house, at an agency or in a consultancy.
• Bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual communications or a related field.
• Fluency in written and spoken English and Cantonese preferred; Mandarin is an advantage.
• Quick adoption of proprietary platforms such as internal email HTML and AI-driven tools.
• Attention to detail, ability to take direction and bring your own creative point of view.

Required skills

• Strong PowerPoint skills, with an eye for layout, hierarchy and storytelling.
• Working knowledge of Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects and Premiere.
• Familiarity with macOS and Windows.
• Prior UI/UX experience or close collaboration with developers is a plus.
