Digital Video Producer for Museum

About the role

The Digital Content and Initiatives team at M+ Museum is seeking a creative and highly organised Video Producer to lead the production of editorially driven video content across the museum’s digital platforms, exhibition spaces and public touchpoints.

Key responsibilities

• Produce high‑quality videos and short‑documentary features that showcase artists, collections and museum activities.
• Develop production briefs, scripts and scope documents, and manage external videographers and production houses.
• Oversee on‑site and off‑site filming sessions, ensuring schedules and budgets are met.
• Coordinate with artists, editors, translators, animators and other service providers to deliver final assets.
• Handle rights clearance for media and ensure compliance with accessibility, subtitling and branding standards.
• Collaborate with curatorial, marketing, legal and operations teams across M+ and the West Kowloon Cultural District.
• Analyse performance data to optimise video concepts and audience reach.
• Stay abreast of emerging video technologies and pilot innovative digital programmes.

Required profile

• Recognised university degree in creative media, multimedia production, video production or a related field.
• 6–10 years of professional experience in video production, preferably within cultural or media organisations.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects, budgets and multi‑disciplinary teams.
