Executive Director – Private Banker for Taiwan Market (Hong Kong)

About the role

The International Private Bank is seeking an Executive Director to serve high‑net‑worth clients from Taiwan, based in Hong Kong. You will work within JPMorgan Private Bank’s Wealth Advisory team, partnering with trust officers and external advisors to deliver comprehensive wealth solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Enhance the Private Bank’s value proposition by guiding clients on tax, estate planning, immigration, asset protection, family governance and philanthropy.
• Identify client needs and address them using trusts, foundations, companies, private funds, partnerships, contracts, insurance and other structures.
• Design and implement solutions together with internal partners and external parties such as law firms, brokers and government agencies.
• Travel with bankers to meet clients and prospects, contributing to business development.
• Manage large and complex structuring projects and oversee case loads independently.

Required profile

• Degree holder with professional qualification in law, tax or accounting.
• 10+ years experience in taxation, estate planning, trusts and transactional work, especially liquidity events.
• Cross‑border planning experience, including offshore structures and knowledge of local tax, trust and succession laws.
• Strong interpersonal and client relationship skills, ability to work collaboratively with internal colleagues.
• Self‑starter, well‑organized, capable of managing independent workloads.
