Facilities Technician – Event Operations

About the role

AsiaWorld-Expo is seeking a Facilities Technician to support the set‑up, operation and maintenance of its venues. The role ensures that all equipment and facilities meet safety standards and that events run smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in setting up, implementing and maintaining facilities and equipment across venues.
• Conduct regular inspections, update maintenance records and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Coordinate and monitor contractor work, performing inspections upon completion.
• Oversee day‑to‑day operations and venue set‑up for business activities.
• Standby during events, communicate with relevant parties, and manage emergency calls for system failures.
• Perform routine and ad‑hoc maintenance and repair tasks for building infrastructure.
• Undertake any additional assignments as required.

Required profile

• Secondary school education or higher.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in building operation, maintenance, or event‑related facilities services.
• Strong teamwork, communication abilities and capacity to work independently.
• Well‑organized, self‑motivated, able to multitask and meet tight deadlines under pressure.
• Knowledge of building services, maintenance procedures and event‑operation requirements.
• Willingness to work shift duties.
