Field Service Engineer – Infection Control

About the role

We are looking for a Field Service Engineer to maintain and repair Getinge’s Infection Control and Sterilisation (IC&LS) equipment, including washers and sterilizers, for hospitals and medical centres. The role involves on‑site installation, inspection, corrective and preventive maintenance, as well as providing technical support and training to end‑users.

Key responsibilities

• Perform installation, inspection, corrective and preventive maintenance of MedTech infection‑control equipment.
• Provide technical support, troubleshooting and solutions to customers on‑site.
• Report and document technical issues according to manufacturer QA guidelines and coordinate root‑cause analysis with the manufacturer.
• Assist with pre‑ and post‑installation activities, including operation training and product demonstrations.
• Liaise with service administration, sales and management teams to ensure high‑quality service delivery.

Required profile

• Higher Diploma, Diploma or Higher Certificate in Electrical, Mechanical, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of technical experience with OT or CSSD equipment (preferred).
• Self‑motivated, responsible, able to work independently and eager to learn.
• Fluent in Chinese and English.
• Willingness to travel overseas for training.
• Holding a Registered Electrical Worker License Grade A or a Pressure Vessel Operator License (Class III or VI) is an advantage.
