Finance Analyst – Regional FP&A for TV Distribution (APAC)

About the role

The Finance Analyst will support the Senior Finance Manager in delivering regional Financial Planning & Analysis for Sony Pictures Television Distribution and Home Entertainment across the APAC market. Based in Hong Kong or Singapore, the role consolidates forecasts, budgets and long‑range plans while overseeing APAC overhead planning.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, consolidate and review APAC TV Distribution and Home Entertainment budgets, quarterly forecasts and multi‑year plans.
• Coordinate planning submissions, acting as liaison between territory finance teams and Home Office Finance.
• Produce financial schedules, reporting packs and presentations for regional leadership.
• Lead the annual budget, quarterly forecast and monthly outlook process for regional overheads and headcount using PowerApps.
• Monitor overhead performance, provide variance analysis and recommendations.
• Deliver timely regional FP&A reporting, analyse performance trends and support strategic discussions.
• Develop and maintain interactive dashboards in SAP Analytics Cloud to improve visibility and data‑driven decision‑making.
• Maintain financial controls across planning and forecasting activities.

Required profile

• Ability to partner with territory finance teams, Home Office Finance and Global Financial Operations.
• Strong analytical mindset with focus on consistency and accuracy in financial planning.

Required skills

• SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) for dashboarding.
• SAP BPC for financial planning.
• RPM planning system.
• PowerApps planning tool for headcount forecasting.
