Finance Director – Regional Shared Services (Hong Kong)

About the role

The Finance Director will be based at the regional headquarters in Hong Kong, reporting directly to the Regional CFO. The role leads a small finance team and provides strategic oversight of the Shared Services Centre (SSC) that supports multiple APAC business units.

Key responsibilities

• Lead strategic direction, operational excellence, governance and continuous transformation of the SSC.
• Drive finance transformation initiatives, process redesign and SSC maturity programmes.
• Ensure service‑delivery excellence through process standardisation, automation, internal controls, compliance and treasury operations.
• Develop finance talent and act as a key business partner to regional and global finance leadership.
• Improve efficiency, scalability, customer experience and overall operational effectiveness.

Required profile

• Degree in accounting, finance or a related discipline.
• Professional qualification – CPA or ACCA (mandatory).
• 18‑25 years of relevant accounting and finance experience.
• Big 4 audit background is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulations in a complex MNC environment.
• Proven experience managing an overseas shared service centre.
• Hands‑on experience with ERP system implementation.
• Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
