Food & Beverage Coordinator

About the role

The Food & Beverage Coordinator supports the daily administrative and operational functions of the Food & Beverage department at Desert Islands Resort & Spa. You will act as a liaison between kitchen, service teams, purchasing, sales and hotel management to ensure smooth service across restaurants, bars, room service and banquet operations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily F&B operations across all outlets, including restaurants, bars, room service and banquet functions.
• Assist in staff scheduling, monitor staffing levels and ensure appropriate coverage.
• Distribute and communicate event orders (BEOs) to relevant departments.
• Maintain F&B records, prepare weekly/monthly performance reports (sales, labor and food costs) and support inventory tracking.
• Update menus, pricing and POS systems as required.
• Monitor service standards, ensure compliance with hotel policies and support training/onboarding of team members.
• Track supplier orders, invoices and ensure proper billing for events and outlets.
