Food & Beverage Coordinator

About the role

The Food & Beverage Coordinator supports daily administrative and operational functions of the F&B department at Desert Islands Resort & Spa. The role ensures smooth communication, coordination of events, accurate documentation and efficient service across restaurants, bars, room service and banquet operations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily F&B operations across restaurants, bars, room service, and banquet functions.
• Assist in scheduling staff and monitoring staffing levels.
• Distribute and communicate event orders (BEOs) to relevant departments.
• Monitor service standards and ensure compliance with hotel policies.
• Maintain F&B department records, reports, and documentation.
• Prepare weekly/monthly performance reports (sales, labor costs, food cost).
• Assist with inventory tracking, purchasing coordination and supplier invoicing.
• Update menus, pricing, and POS systems as required.
• Address guest inquiries and special requests professionally.
• Coordinate between departments to resolve operational issues.
• Support training and onboarding of F&B team members.
