Fractional Clinical Associate/Assistant Professor – Implant Dentistry

About the role

The Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Hong Kong seeks a non‑tenure‑track fractional Clinical Associate Professor or Clinical Assistant Professor to lead teaching and research in Implant Dentistry on a 50% fixed‑term basis.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver clinical and didactic teaching in Implant Dentistry at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
• Supervise student research projects and develop an independent research programme.
• Participate in the Faculty’s clinical services and administrative duties.

Required profile

• Dental degree (BDS) with specialist qualification in Implant Dentistry, Prosthodontics or Periodontology.
• For Associate Professor: PhD or equivalent and proven record of high‑quality publications and research leadership.
• For Assistant Professor: Master of Dental Surgery and demonstrated clinical excellence with potential for research.
