Front Line Maintenance Technician – High Speed Rail

About the role

The Front Line Maintenance Technician will lead a small team of tradesmen to ensure the reliable operation of all station systems and equipment on Hong Kong's High Speed Rail network. This full‑time position involves both preventive and corrective maintenance, as well as coordination with external contractors.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a small team of tradesmen to perform maintenance on station systems and ancillary buildings.
• Prioritise and execute preventive and corrective maintenance tasks, investigating equipment failures as needed.
• Supervise and coordinate with maintenance contractors on modification, capital and revenue works.
• Take over equipment on site and ensure proper hand‑over procedures.

Required profile

• Higher Diploma or Higher Certificate in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic or Building Services Engineering with at least 1 year relevant experience, OR Diploma/Certificate with 5 years experience (or 2 years post‑apprenticeship).
• Willingness to work shift duties, including weekends and public holidays, when required.
