Full‑Stack Mobile Engineer (Flutter) – Insurtech, Cantonese & Mandarin

About the role

Our client, an emerging insurtech company in Hong Kong, is seeking a versatile Full‑Stack Mobile Engineer with a strong focus on Flutter. The role will start with building and optimizing customer‑facing cross‑platform mobile and web applications and will later expand to backend services, micro‑services and third‑party integrations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and enhance iOS/Android and web applications using Flutter.
• Manage end‑to‑end app deployment, submission and release cycles on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
• Design and implement scalable RESTful APIs, micro‑services and system integrations to support core product logic.
• Implement secure authentication flows, e‑KYC solutions and integrate local APIs such as Hong Kong’s iAM Smart via OAuth2/OpenID Connect.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, UI/UX designers and business stakeholders in a fast‑paced startup environment.

Required profile

• Professional fluency in Cantonese and Mandarin (verbal and written) for daily collaboration and market alignment.
• Proven experience shipping production Flutter applications for mobile and web.
• Track record of publishing and managing apps on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
• Solid understanding of OAuth2, OpenID Connect and e‑KYC workflows.
• Willingness to work across the full stack, including backend services and API integrations.
