Gas Utilization and Collection Manager

About the role

Veolia Hong Kong is looking for a Gas Utilization and Collection Manager to lead the technical team responsible for the landfill gas collection and utilization system and overall facility management at its Nim Wan site. The role combines supervision of third‑party contractors, operational optimisation and compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and report on technical services performed under contract, including third‑party contractors.
• Provide technical support for operational improvements, energy efficiency and cost‑effective maintenance.
• Lead the technical team to ensure service delivery meets SLAs, statutory requirements and local ordinances.
• Maintain networks, buildings, facilities, systems and machinery in optimal condition and prepare detailed technical reports.
• Oversee improvement works, A&A projects, renovations and vendor performance.
• Manage landfill gas (LFG) collection and utilization system, including testing, commissioning, handover and 24/7 emergency support.

Required profile

• Degree in Building Services or related engineering discipline.
• Valid Registered Electrical Worker licence (Grade B0 or above).
• Minimum 6 years of technical services experience, including at least 2 years in an assistant‑manager role within FM/PM operations.
• Strong command of spoken and written English and Chinese.

Required skills

• Registered Electrical Worker licence (Grade B0 or above).
• Proficiency with PC applications.
• Experience with landfill gas collection and utilization systems.
