Environmental Supervisor

About the role

Veolia Hong Kong Holding Limited, part of the Veolia Group, is looking for an Environmental Supervisor based in Fanling. The role supports the Environmental Manager in site compliance and environmental management, and involves monitoring, reporting and training site staff.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Environmental Manager with overall site compliance with contracts, licenses and environmental permits
• Help prepare, implement and update the Environmental Management Plan and EM&A reports
• Liaise with the Environmental Consultant on environmental monitoring and auditing matters
• Deliver environmental training, including induction and toolbox talks, and run site promotion activities
• Supervise and monitor environmental performance on site and carry out joint inspections to identify environmental hazards
• Maintain the monitoring database

Required profile

• University graduate in Environmental Science or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in EM&A, environmental monitoring or a similar field is preferable
• Certificate holder of Environmental Supervisor
• Driving licence is essential
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
• Determined, motivated team player with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and excellent presentation skills

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office and Google applications
• Construction Safety (Green Card) training
