General Insurance Actuarial Intern (Jan-Jun 2027)

About the role
This internship runs from January to June 2027 within Prudential's General Insurance Actuarial Service team. The intern provides actuarial support to product pricing and regular actuarial reporting.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the team in General Insurance product development initiatives and product pricing.
- Evaluate the performance of existing products against actual operational experience.
- Help perform data analysis and generate regular reports.
- Take part in ad-hoc tasks and projects such as experience studies and market research.
Required profile
- Study in Actuarial Science, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics or an equivalent field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to learn and attention to detail on general insurance products.
- Excellent spoken and written Chinese and English.
Required skills
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Knowledge of a programming language such as R or Python is a plus.
