General Ledger Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a diligent General Ledger Accountant to join our finance team in Hong Kong. The role involves managing the full set of accounts, ensuring compliance with local accounting standards, and supporting the financial reporting process for a fast‑growing internet brokerage.

Key responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts, month‑end closing and financial statement preparation in compliance with HKFRS / CAS and group policies.
• Conduct tax calculation and filing, complete periodic financial and regulatory reporting, and ensure timely, compliant submissions.
• Liaise with external auditors, provide audit documents and coordinate the annual statutory audit.
• Review expense claims and daily expenditures, controlling compliance and reasonableness of expenses.
• Perform inter‑company transaction reconciliation to maintain accurate group accounting records.
• Complete other ad‑hoc tasks assigned by management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related fields; professional accounting qualification preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of full‑set GL accounting experience, familiar with HKFRS / CAS and tax compliance; financial industry experience preferred.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese.
• Meticulous, self‑disciplined with good communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with SAP (highly preferred).
