Global Case Manager

About the role

As a Global Case Manager at Bupa Global, you will coordinate complex medical cases for our international members, ensuring timely and accurate clinical information flow across multiple systems and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, gather and update relevant clinical information in the patient management system and associated software tools.
• Investigate and respond to complex medical pre‑authorisation and high‑value claim enquiries from members, providers and partners.
• Interpret Bupa Global policies and apply the correct coding system to process data accurately.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities, negotiate medical expenses based on evidence, and report potential fraud or abuse.
• Evaluate care outcomes with interdisciplinary teams, measuring effectiveness and implementing recommendations.
• Triage and allocate complex cases, including evacuation and repatriation assistance, to regional case‑management teams while monitoring service level agreements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in healthcare or a related discipline.
• Doctor or RN experience with a specialty is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of clinical coding systems.
• Proven decision‑making experience in a clinical setting across a wide range of conditions.
• Excellent communication with both clinical and non‑clinical personnel at all organisational levels.
• Solid understanding of healthcare systems, resources and treatment pathways.
