Graduate Engineer – Renewable Energy & Bio‑Refinery

About the role

Our Technology, Research & Innovation team works at the intersection of renewable feedstock, catalyst, process and engineering disciplines. As a Graduate Engineer you will support technology development for bio‑refineries, gaining exposure to the full project lifecycle while contributing to sustainable fuel solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers in creating technical drawings, simulations and process designs for bio‑refineries using tools such as AutoCAD, Aspen or ANSYS.
• Analyse operational data from plants (e.g., HEFA facilities) to improve efficiency and reduce environmental impact.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to troubleshoot on‑site challenges and support R&D projects like waste‑to‑renewable‑fuel conversion.
• Participate in lifecycle assessments (LCAs) and ensure alignment with global sustainability standards such as ISCC.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Environmental, Energy Engineering or Material Science (final‑year students or recent graduates welcome).
• Strong curiosity about renewable energy, process engineering or bio‑based technologies.
• Problem‑solving mindset with ability to turn complex challenges into actionable solutions.
• Comfortable working in fast‑paced, multicultural environments and willing to travel as required.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD).
• Experience or familiarity with process simulation tools such as Aspen.
• Knowledge of modeling tools like ANSYS.
• Basic data analysis capabilities.
