Ground Operations & Security Officer

About the role

The Ground Operations & Security Officer coordinates ground handling, security, and turnaround activities to ensure safe, compliant, and on‑time flight operations. The role supports ramp supervision, aircraft security, cargo build‑up monitoring, and operational coordination during live flights.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure aircraft security during turnaround, monitor access, and perform security searches in line with ISA and local regulations.
• Perform ramp safety duties according to company GOM and RSS requirements, complete flight reports and incident reports in IQSMS.
• Coordinate assigned flights as a Turnaround Coordinator, update TAC systems in real time, and liaise with ground handlers to achieve on‑time departures.
• Send build‑up instructions, monitor cargo build‑up, resolve irregularities, and maintain data accuracy for flight closure.
• Arrange crew hotel, transport, and catering services; escort crew or passengers when required; support charter flights and special operations.

Required profile

• Minimum High School Diploma; aviation‑related degree is an advantage.
• 2+ years of experience in ground operations, cargo, or aviation security.
• Experience in cargo airlines, freight forwarders, or GSA preferred.
• Valid HK Driving License (Class 1) preferred.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and ability to work under pressure in 24/7 shift operations.
• Must pass regulatory background checks.
