Head of Data Strategy

About the role

Coface is seeking a visionary Head of Data Strategy to lead data‑driven initiatives across the region. You will shape and execute a data strategy that creates business value, ensures high‑quality governance, and supports advanced analytics for trade‑related solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a regional data strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Apply Group data governance frameworks to guarantee compliant, secure, and high‑quality data management.
• Collaborate with IT, data engineering, and business teams to enforce stewardship policies across data platforms.
• Define data policies, standards, and best practices, and oversee data profiling, quality assessment, and cleansing activities.
• Drive adoption of emerging data technologies and innovations.
• Ensure data infrastructure supports analytics and business intelligence initiatives.
• Design and implement entity‑resolution and deduplication architectures, maintaining matching rules and record‑linkage strategies.
• Maintain metadata and data lineage for all regional data sources.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading data strategy or data governance at a regional or enterprise level.
• Strong ability to work with senior leadership and cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent analytical mindset with a focus on delivering measurable business impact.
