Head of International Store Development

About the role

The Head of International Store Development will lead Luckin Coffee’s global expansion outside Mainland China. This senior position is responsible for designing and executing the network planning, development processes, and asset management frameworks that support the company’s worldwide growth strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement network planning, development, and asset management frameworks for overseas markets.
• Drive the creation and continuous improvement of the global ONE BD SYSTEM, including market research, forecasting, data infrastructure, and planning methodology.
• Design organizational structures for both headquarters and local market teams, covering role definition, talent acquisition, team management, and capability building.
• Collaborate with HQ functions and local market teams to establish and operationalize regional development organizations, ensuring methodology transfer, training, and execution excellence.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• At least 8 years of relevant experience, including 5+ years in people management or leadership roles.
• Strong background in network planning within global retail, FMCG, or chain restaurant environments, or related areas such as industry research, strategic planning, data modeling, development processes, or system/infrastructure building.
• Experience in multinational organizations with a solid understanding of collaboration models between global headquarters and local markets.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, analytical thinking, and data sensitivity.
